National recognition for decade-long exemplary performance. Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad was awarded Best Hospital in Organ Donation at the national level. Sri G. Ravinder Rao, the Chairman of Yashoda Hospital Group has received the award today at colourful function organised by National Organ & Tissue Transplant Orgnization (NOTTO) at Constitution Club Annexe, New Delhi. Honourable Minster of State for Heath & Family welfare(HFW) Ms. Anupriya Patel has presented the award where Hon’ble Minsters of state HFW Sri Ashwini Kumar and Vijay Bhaskar, the Health Minstrer of Tamil Nadu along with CEO of Jeevandan organisation Dr.G.Swarnalatha of Telangana Prof. Vimal Bhandari the director NOTTO &  Prof. Jagdeesh Prasad of  DGHS have also participated.

Our  common objective is to promote massive organ donation and make maximum availability & utilisation of cadaver organs in two Telugu states.” Sri Ravinder Rao said. He thanked families which came who agreed to donate organs of their brain dead members, Govt. Of Telangana and Jeevandan organization for their support to organdonations.

The who is who of the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Medical Institutions striving to encourage and involved in Organ Transplants were present at this programme organised on the occasion of 8th Indian Organ Donation Day. Two thousand invitees have attended the programme Some of the Donar’s family members were also felicitated on this occasion.
