The most unique aspect of USSH includes its room in room concept, it helps to maintain the laminar airflow and in this door opening does not affect the laminar air flow. It is a glass room which is restricted to only the scrub team, this further reduces the chances of infection for the patient.

Dr Tejas Upasani, Orthopaedic and knee replacement surgeon & Co-founder of USSH hospital says “In Mumbai, the level of resident workers has increased in an exponential form. The changing profile of Mumbai’s population has altered the need for healthcare to a great extent. Lifestyle related diseases have emerged with a huge demand, hence the preliminary focus will be to create awareness by organising health checkup camps & healthcare educational activities, etc.”

The multi-specialty hospital has a capacity of 100 bed later. It has a 15 bedded state of the art ICU; 4 Operation Theatres, Emergency Trauma Care, Cath lab with emergency Cardiac care and round the clock pharmacy and emergency services. This facility also provides medical services in varied fields beginning from Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Neurology, Nephrology and Cardiology to name a few.
