Mandira Bedi launches PHL products at The Herbal Science Summit 2017


Planet Herb Lifesciences (PHL), the leading wellness & healthcare company in Sri Lanka, Russia & the UAE launched its products in India at The Herbal Science Summit 2017.

The launch event was inaugurated by Mandira Bedi with other major speakers like Dr. Tripti Tandon, noted dietician, Dr Aru Handa, senior consultant, Medanta-Medcity and Dr Dolly Marya, senior consultant obstetrician & gynaecologist at The Marya Clinic and Max Smart.


Speaking on this occasion V.K Dhawan, CEO, PHL stated, “Residing in the beautiful state of Uttarakhand, The Dhawan’s as a family felt that organic wellness and holistic living, which were the way of life of our country, were getting extinct and becoming old fashioned. As a founder chairman of CII, Uttarakhand, I was involved in development of some information on availability of herbs in Uttarakhand. Additionally , the key focus area of the government has been the herbs development and its related products. Inview of this, further study was done and a company established with full R&D and quality facilities, which are at par with any world class facility.”

The company has received certificates from various countries and departments:-  Certificate of compliance from WHO; Certified by FSSAI (Food Safety & Standards Authority of India);  Certificate of GMT, from the office of licensing Authority & Director, Ayurvedic & Unani Services, Uttarakhand;  Certificate of Drug Registration, Ministry of Health & Social welfare, Tanzania Food & Drugs Authority, Manufacturing site Registration Certificate by The United Arabs Emirates , Ministry of health; Certificate of registration of medicinal products, Drug Regulatory Authority, Royal Governmentof Bhutan; Certification by Department of Ayurveda of Sri Lanka.

Post catering the international markets, PHL entered the Indian market to offer highest quality nutraceuticals and dietary supplement to its consumers. They chose the tougher route of exporting their products to European, Middle east and US markets before bringing it to domestic market. The products are registered with Ministry of Health, Russia, UAE,Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Malaysia, Singapore and Nepal, reflecting global acceptance of the products.
