HPE Bags Most Innovation Solution of the Year at Indian ISV Awards 2016


HPE’s   eHC solution that   provides access, availability & affordability of quality healthcare in remote locations, was judged the most innovative solution of the year at Indian ISV awards 2016, held in Bangalore on July 19th by Techplus Media.  This disruptive innovation combines the best of Health & IT domains and provides underserved populations with access to quality, affordable healthcare thereby playing a critical role in contributing to healthy, vibrant communities and spurring economic growth.


In a glittering ceremony attended by the who’s who of the ITES industry, Techplus Media showered accolades over nearly 50extremely deserving candidates. There were more than 200 nominations that were judged by a Jury of power packed technologists.

“This award is an acknowledgement of the profound impact of the solution in enabling Accessibility, Affordability and Availability of Quality Healthcare for the underprivileged and under served sections of the society. Health Tech offers exciting prospects for enhancing the Healthcare Quotient of our nation. In fact, Smart Health is one of the key building blocks towards Smart Cities and HPE is committed to bringing in the best of technologies & tools towards building better primary Healthcare Eco-system in the Country. ”said, Mr. Lux Rao, CTO, HPE, on receiving this award.

Cutting across four enterprise sizes and 6 nomination categories, the awards honoured thirty eight nominees, and gave away 8 citations to movers and shakers in the industry. The event also saw the honouring of 5 CTOs who have made a difference, being given awards for their leadership role in successful enterprises. The CTO of HPE, Mr Lux Rao was also recognised and awarded a citation for his outstanding leadership as the technology head of eHP.

Among the other CTOs who were felicitated were Mr. Sanjay Katkar – MD & CTO, Quickheal, Mr. Abhay Chitnis – CTO & VP, L&T Infotech and Mr. Ullas Nambiar – AVP, Myntra.

Speaking on the occasion, one of the five esteemed jury, Prof. Rajat Moona, Director General of CDAC, and faculty, IIT, Kanpur said, “I am very impressed by the level of projects that have been nominated for these awards. The nominations for the CSR awards are very appreciable while the Innovation nominations clearly indicate that technology for enterprise in India is well on its way to meet the world standards.”
