What challenges you foresee in the industry?

This industry is slow to adopt tech but with increase in competition, awareness to focus to customers is increasing. Online is a big Leap Frog Opportunity which is what we are expecting smart business owners of the  Pharmacy Retail Industry to adopt our technology. No organization in the industry today has the ability to connect all stakeholders of OPD like the way we do.

Healthcare is a complex industry and unless all stakeholders are empowered, efficiencies of lowering costs cannot take place. Hence our effort is to have the technology to connecting and sharing data be made available and with time adoption across stakeholders will increase.

Do you think this new business model is taking head in the country?

One has to have a model that is suitable to the specific target industry.  Currently we have a blended model that enables a pharmacy store to choose the technology of their choice to ensure they are able to focus on patient care.

What is the roadmap for Pharmeazy?

We want to the ePrescription Hub in India and expand to Asia and power everyone with the access to their mini EMR data on their phones.
