Apollo Hospitals has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Health Education England (HEE) to promote cooperation and interaction in healthcare education between India and England.
The collaboration will have clinical rotation of doctors, nurses, midwives, other health professionals and undergraduate healthcare students through mutual exchange. It will explore the possibility of establishing a ‘global healthcare school’ to ensure that opportunities for global learning is available to all healthcare workforce in both countries.
The MoU also enables establishment of a model for the co-production of ‘globally educated’ healthcare workforce which can serve as a basis to further relationships with other geographies.
The MoU was signed by Sangita Reddy, joint managing director, Apollo Hospitals Group, and Prof Ian Cumming, CEO, HEE.
